Door Storage
Use the hanging clear shoe organizers!  One can be used in the entryway for hats, gloves and scarves, one in the kitchen for spices and small bags. Of course, one in the closet for shoes.  

T is for Toaster
Use an A-Z accordion file for storing instruction booklets for appliances and electronics. Staple the receipt to the inside of the booklet and then file it under the letter of the alphabet it fits. Example: toaster goes under T and not under the brand name. This system makes it possible for anyone in the household to find instruction booklets without having to ask or search the entire house since they're all stored in one location.

 How does your service work? 

We offer a free initial telephone assessment to learn about your organizing challenge.  We want to understand as much as we can about what is working for you and what is not working in your home before we get there. 

We offer a free initial 30-minute on-site assessment when booking a work session.  This assessment helps us determine the size and scope of the project.

We offer a written home assessment to help plan out a longer-term goal of organizing your entire space.  The complete plan will include time estimates and product recommendations and can be implemented on your own or with the aid of Absolutely Organized.  The cost for this written plan is based on our hourly rate and will be determined during the initial on-site assessment.


Our working sessions are the times when we actually get down to work sorting, purging,  grouping like items together and finding a new home for all of your belongings.  We like to work in three hour sessions and realize that some spaces will take several sessions to get the space fully organized and functional. 


How long will it take to get my house organized?


Each client has different needs, wants and expectations.  We will be able to discuss the amount of time once we have seen the space and discussed the way the client wants the space to function. 


Can I hire you for small projects?


Yes.  Absolutely Organized has a minimum working session of two hours which is usually just enough to tackle a small reach-in closet or small pantry.


What can I expect when we get started?


You will be amazed how much Absolutely Organized can get done in a short amount of time.  Clients are constantly saying how pleased they are that we can make such a big difference with just one working session.  After the initial meeting, we will have a game plan that will allow us to jump right in and get started.  We focus on the visible clutter first by gathering and sorting like items with like items. We then determine if there are any items to be discarded, donated or gifted.  After that we figure out which containers are necessary and finally work on making the space more attractive and functional.


How do I stay organized once my space is looking great?


We specialize in creating a system that works for each client.  By understanding your natural style and likes and dislikes, we will establish a system that is easy for you to maintain.  Of course, we also know that life can change quite rapidly and we may need to review what we created.  We have maintenance agreements that we can set up on a routine basis and we encourage reviewing your organizing goals periodically to make sure you are still using the space for the same needs.


Do you have evening and weekend hours available?


Yes.  We are available to schedule initial assessments and working sessions in the evenings and on weekends.  As a working mother, I understand how difficult it can be to schedule time to get organized during the day. 


Do you have Gift Certificates available?


Yes, we do.  Absolutely Organized is a great way to help a friend or family member overcome their hesitation about getting started with a Professional Organizer.  We offer gift certificates in any dollar amount.  Please contact us for additional details.
